There will be a new Squishmallows Happy Meal at the fast food chain in the United States. On December 26, restaurants all over the country will start selling Happy Meals with small versions of the popular plush toys. These toys are known for their cute designs and super soft feel.
Squishmallows to Happy Meals in a number of other countries, such as Canada, the UK, and even the Philippines. On the other hand, when it comes out in the US, fans will finally no longer have to wait for the Squishy Happy Meal.
People who buy a Happy Meal will be able to collect up to twelve different Squishmallow toys. There are some Squishmallow characters that fans already know and love, like Fifi the fox and Cam the cat.
Not only that, but McDonald's said that some lucky customers might find a "surprise mystery character" in their Squishmallow Happy Meals. "We want to connect our fans to culture," Tariq Hassan, chief marketing and customer experience officer for McDonald's USA, said in a statement.
In order to make the meal more fun, each Squishmallows Happy Meal character will also have its own playlist. McDonald's said the playlists were put together by Universal Music Group and are based on the "unique and fun personalities" of each Squishmallow. "We want to connect our fans to culture," Tariq Hassan, chief marketing and customer experience officer for McDonald's USA, said in a statement.
Fans of Squishy Marshmallows will have to wait until next week to get their hands on the new Happy Meal. In the meantime, customers can enjoy the Kerwin Frost Box, a limited-edition McDonald's meal that just came out.
The meal, which was made with the help of artist and DJ Kerwin Frost, comes with fries, a soft drink, and either 10 Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac.
