This holiday season, people who love Starbucks have yet another reason to be happy. After putting out its holiday menu in November, the coffee chain just added the brand-new Merry Mint White Mocha to its list of holiday drinks.
This new iced drink is only available at Starbucks for a short time. It starts with espresso, then adds white chocolate sauce, milk, and ice. The chocolate-peppermint flavor that people want in the winter is then added on top with Peppermint Chocolate Cream Cold Foam and chocolate curls.
The Peppermint Chocolate Cream Cold Foam is a new item at Starbucks that can be added to any cold drink. Peppermint syrup, chocolate malt powder, and the chain's vanilla sweet cream make up the topping.
The holiday fun doesn't end when Starbucks' new Merry Mint White Mocha comes out. Members of Starbucks Rewards can get this drink for half price today and every Thursday in December as part of their new weekly drink deal, which they've affectionately named "ThursYay."
It's not just the Merry Mint White Mocha that's on sale for a short time, though. It also works for any drink ordered between noon and six o'clock, but each Rewards member can only use it on one drink.
As a holiday treat, Starbucks is giving away free cups of hot chocolate with every grande drink this weekend and every weekend until the end of December.
Starbucks added a new holiday drink this year called the Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai before taking away the Merry Mint Mocha. This holiday drink has notes of gingerbread, chai spices, and creamy oat milk.
You can get this drink hot or iced. It is one of five holiday drinks that are coming back, the others being the Peppermint Mocha, the Caramel Brulée Latte, the Chestnut Praline Latte, and the Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte.
